Returns & Refunds policy

We really hope you love every item you purchase from The TaleSmith’s Studio.

If not, don’t worry — you can request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.
Follow the steps to return

STEP 1 — Initiate Your Return
To request a return, simply email us at thetalesmithstudio@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your product.
Just mention your:

• Order number

• Item(s) you want to return

• Reason (optional)

Once you notify us, your return request is considered initiated.

STEP 2 — Ship the Item Back to us
After you initiate your return, you will have 10 days to send the product back to us.

• You must arrange your own return shipping using any courier of your choice (Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC, India Post, Porter, etc.)

• You are responsible for the full cost of return shipping

• Please use a trackable, insured shipping method — we cannot process refunds for items lost or damaged during return transit

STEP 3 — Inspection & Refund
Once we receive the returned item, we will:

1. Inspect it

2. Email you to confirm whether the return is approved

3. Process your refund within 21 days

 

After we issue the refund, please allow 5–10 working days for it to reflect in your bank account.
Refunds are always sent to the original payment method, with no extra fees.

Conditions for returns:
In order for the goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

• The goods were purchased within the last 7 days

• Unused, unopened, and in original packaging

• In a saleable condition

   

The following goods cannot be returned:

• The supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

• The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, for example goods which deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

• The supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

• The supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

 

We reserve the right to refuse returns if the product is used, damaged, or not in return-worthy condition.

 

Returning Goods:
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us.
We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts:
If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
